Construction of Ramenskoye maternity hospital will be completed by 2017 - Governor

Krasnogorsk, 29 May. Interfax – A 300-bed maternity hospital costing 2 billion roubles will be completed by mid-2016 Andrey Vorobyov, Governor of Moscow Region, stated on the “360⁰ Moscow Region” TV channel on Thursday.

“Work has already begun on the construction of maternity hospitals in Kolomna, Ramenskoye, Shchyolkovo, Naro-Fominsk and Sergiyev Posad. The Ramenskoye hospital will have 300 beds and is planned for completion by mid-2016, that is to say in a year’s time,” said Mr Vorobyov.

He added that the total cost would be upwards of 2 billion roubles.

By the end of 2017, three perinatal centres are planned with a total of 450 beds in Kolomna, Shchyolkovo and Naro-Fominsk, two maternity hospitals with 300 beds in Sergeyev Posad and Ramenskoye, as well as clinics in Pavlov Posad.
